Hillary Clinton Invades Black Girls Rock

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton invaded “Black Girls Rock” on BET last night. It was a farcical display of jive talk, shucking ’round, skinning and grinning. Her incessant rhyming ’cause you know “dat’s how we be talking and shit!” was even more shocking. It was an absolute pathetic display of disingenousness and fuckery. It was so desperate. I know a ton of black women who support her. How or why? I have no idea but this is bigger than that.

She was given a surprisingly warm reception by the black women in the audience. We know that the sisters of ABC, Sean Bell’s fiancee, Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner’s mothers and Sandra Bland’s mother have endorsed this demon. When did Ms. Rodham-Clinton EVER have her pulse to the happenings in Black America other than calling black boys “superpredators” and supporting pipelines to prison along with her poor white trash turned president husband, Bill Clinton? Everything she has ever done has been anti-black so how the hell does she end up at “Black Girls Rock”? How do we give her a standing ovation? Are we really riding this “because she’s a woman” train?

We endured her rambling on about “how strong black women  are”, “the world knows black girls rock” and how Debra Lee was her “good, good friend”. Really Hill? You, actually, have ONE good, good black friend? I wonder does she come over to the crib and drink all the kool aid and eat all the fried chicken. We know how much the Clinton’s love black people! *insert the sidiest of side eyes*

This was a night meant to celebrate us and privilege be damned- Mrs. Upper Crust of the Ladies of Wonderbread showed up and ruined the damn night. I don’t even watch BET like that but the very time that I do- why does Viacom subject me to this bullshit? Bitch don’t kill my vibe! (in my Kendrick Lamar voice). Where is Solange and an elevator when you need her?

Hillary Clinton is a “blackortunist”. Anything black and here comes Hill Dog showing her face and being “down” for the people (insert white people rapper hands). If her supporters  can’t see through this, we are lost.

So Mrs. Clinton- so that you know. We didn’t invite you to our celebration. It wasn’t a good look. We don’t believe your lies or that you love us. You can’t come to the family reunion or our church services. We don’t want to see you eating watermelon and telling us, “Bye Felicia”. We are well-versed in our strength, our spaces and who’s really here for us.

And NO! You don’t have our vote.

  • Spot on with this write-up, I truly think this website needs much more consideration. I’ll probably be again to read much more, thanks for that info.

  • Spot on with the three articles I’ve read so far. I’m bookmarking this blog. Do you! Your honesty is refreshing.

  • This is the right blog for anyone who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!

  • I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
